Privacy.
Plain language on what this site does and doesn't do with your information.
The short version: this site collects almost nothing about you, and what little it does see is never sold, shared, or used to follow you around the internet.
What this site collects
There are exactly two ways this site can learn anything about you:
1. Anonymous visit counts. The site uses Rybbit, a privacy-focused analytics tool that runs on a server we operate ourselves. It counts things like which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from. It sets no cookies, builds no profile of you, and can't identify you personally. No data ever goes to Google, Meta, or any ad company.
2. Email you choose to send. If you write to hello@dralexisyip.com, we receive whatever you include in your message. That's it.
There are no forms on this site. No newsletter signup, no accounts, no comments, and nothing for sale. If you never email us, the only trace of your visit is an anonymous tally mark.
How it's used
The analytics tell us which articles people find useful, so we can write more of what actually helps. Email is used for one thing: replying to you. You will never be added to a list you didn't ask for, because no such list exists.
What we never do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We don't set tracking cookies. There's no hidden pixel reporting your reading habits to a third party.
Your rights
Want to know what we have about you, or want it deleted? Email hello@dralexisyip.com and ask. Honestly, the answer will almost always be "just the emails you sent us," and we're happy to delete those on request.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
A note on the content itself
Everything on this site is educational content, not medical advice. Nothing here diagnoses or treats any condition. Decisions about your care belong with you and a licensed provider who can examine you in person.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting anything new, this policy gets updated first and the date below changes with it.
