Sealants are one of the simplest ways to prevent cavities in the deep grooves and pits of your teeth, the spots a toothbrush can't reach. The catch is that most sealant materials on the market contain fluoride or BPA.
We do it differently. Instead of a conventional sealant, we use Admira Fusion Flowable, the same biocompatible composite resin we use for fillings, to seal those high-risk grooves and pits without fluoride or BPA. Sealants are a great way to prevent cavities in the areas most prone to them.
The details matter here. Unlike offices where a dental assistant places the sealants, Dr. Yip places them herself to make sure each one is sealed properly. And before the sealant goes on, the tooth is polished and treated with ozone gas to disinfect the surface, so nothing is sealed in underneath.
